My story

Hey batter, batter! It’s ball game time! Six year old Keegan LOVES to play ball. Not only is he a starting line-up ball player but he is also a world-series class cuddle bug who bonds with all who give him TLC. This lab/pit mix also really enjoys all things outdoorsy and thrives while spending time with a family or his person. It really does not get any better for the athletic, outdoors lover than Keegan. It’s the seventh inning stretch – do you have your peanuts and cracker jacks? Sounds like the only thing you’re missing is Keegan!
Keegan would do best with an experienced adopter as an only dog or with a sweet playful dog (with proper introduction) to be his pal. Keegan is crate trained, obedience trained and walks well on a leash.

If you're interested in adopting this pet please fill out our matchmaking questionnaire (www.rescuefromthehart.org). We are volunteer based and will do our best to get back to you within 72 hours. Please do not call as our phone is intended for emergencies only. If we feel that one of our dogs is a good match we will set up a private meet and greet We do not have a physical location where you can come and meet all the dogs at once, so meet and greets may take a little time to coordinate. Our requested adoption donation is $350 and all adopters are required to fill out an adoption agreement.

More about this rescue

Rescue From The Hart is a non-profit, no-kill rescue organization based in Los Angeles, CA. Visit us www.rescuefromthehart.org "Like" us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/RescueFromTheHart The Rescue Promise There is an old Chinese proverb that states: “If you save a life, you are responsible for that life”. Rescue From The Hart honors this philosophy with every animal that we rescue. When we say “yes” to a dog or cat in need, we are making a promise that we will provide them with anything they need to be happy and healthy, for the rest of their life. This means never cutting corners, never take the easy way out and never looking at one of our rescued as just another number. We make the same commitment to our adopters by going the extra mile to help educate them, support them during tragedies, and be there to offer solutions if their lives happen to get turned upside down. When you support Rescue From The Hart, you help enable us to continue making the “Rescue Promise” to homeless and abandoned pets everywhere!
