Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sanchez is a super cute 1-year-old and 10-pound Chihuahua mix that was dumped at the end of town by his owner. Thank goodness a friend of an IDR+ volunteer found him. He is now safe in our program. We think he may be mixed with a Terrier or a Dachshund, as he is bigger and longer than a standard Chihuahua. His foster mom can’t stop gushing about how awesome Sanchez is: ‘He did wonderfully at the vet and is really good with meeting new people! He is currently mingled with my Chihuahua and he is just fine with the bigger Plott Hound that comes for doggie day care. He is a good boy and never complains, eats all his food, perfect in the crate, perfect in the car, house broken and has good house manners. He does not have recall so if he darts out the door you are in trouble! This is why he requires a fenced yard. He likes to chase the bunnies and the birdies. Sanchez is PACKED with personality! I mean could he be anymore stinkin’ cute? He’s got large radar ears that don’t flop and is just very busy running around entertaining you! When he does stop, you can find him curled upon a towel or in a cubby hole that you didn’t think you had! He loves to hang out under the covers with you if you let him! He’s good in cold weather because he is like a little heater! He’s so quiet, you could forget he’s even there but he will let you know if the doorbell rings! If you crinkle the treat bag, he will come running because he will do anything for food! He will sit for a treat and he will follow treats through the agility tunnel. What an adorable dog! Walks well on the leash, loves car rides and wears a harness without fuss. What a fun little guy!’ Email plusdogs@ILDobeRescue.com
