Updated bio 4/29/16 Arthur is a very happy, lovable Yorkie Mix. He is only 3 ½ years old and weighs a perfect 10 pounds. He is being fostered in Orlando, FL. Arthur's adoption fee is $350 and includes all vetting (neuter, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references, and home visit are required for adoption. You may apply to adopt Arthur by going to our website at www.unitedyorkierescue.org and completing the adoption application located on our home page
Arthur is such a great catch! His foster mom thinks he is a designer doggie mix. She thinks someone decided to take a Yorkie, a long hair Chihuahua, and a Chinese Crested or Maltese, and ended up with the most adorable, cutest fellow you could ever imagine! Look at that face!!
This handsome, funny, happy guy is finally ready for his furever home! Arthur has come such a long way since arriving at his foster home. That once too skinny little guy is now an active, healthy, comical, bundle of love. He makes his foster parents laugh everyday!
This sweet active boy needs a playmate who is close to his size and preferably female. He loves his foster sister and although she was not too interested in playing when he first arrived, she happily indulges him now. She never really liked to play with other dogs before, so it's nice to see her engage with him. He never gets too rough, though.
Arthur really needs a fenced yard because he LOVES to roll in the grass, bring out his toys into the yard, and sit on the outside couch and watch the world go by. Although he is an active boy, he knows how to calm down. He loves to cuddle up with foster mom or dad and watch TV at night. He happily sleeps in his pen and will go in during the day by himself to catch a catnap. Arthur is house trained. He never ever goes in the house and can hold it for a very long time. He is a great sleeper, a good eater, and except for not doing so well in the car on long trips, he would be the perfect family dog.
Older kids would be great for Arthur! He LOVES to play fetch, and chase, and be chased. This is one happy pup! He even gives kisses when he is being groomed! He is up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and has all his sparkling teeth. He is very healthy. He will be a great pal for a very long time! Please consider this active, happy lad.
