My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Matty, and her little friend, Snoop. Matty is a 4 yr old red female Doberman Pinscher. As you can see, she is red/tan in color and has natural ears and a natural tail, instead of having cropped ears and a docked tail like some Dobies that you see. She is a tall girl, currently weighing around 75 lbs. Her best buddy and friend is a little black and tan Manchester Terrier mix female named Snoop, who is also about 4 yrs old as well. Snoop and Matty lost their home and so they came into foster care with our rescue organization as a bonded pair.

Matty is a pretty easy going girl. She walks nicely on a leash and rides well in the car. She is happy
hanging out and playing with her friend Snoop. Matty seems more comfortable around smaller breed dogs and is a little unsure of other large breed adult dogs. When Matty first meets new people, she tends to be a bit reserved with them until she gets to know them. Snoop is the kind of girl who runs up to new people to greet them enthusiastically. Once Matty gets to know you, she will come up to you and ask for some love and attention.

Snoop also loves to chase toys, but we are still working on making her bring them back. Matty likes to do a little bit of fetch as well. However, she tends to entertain herself with chasing the birds out of the yard and off of the fence and likes watching for squirrels as well. Both girls are very sweet and they play together very well, despite their size difference.

Their previous owner says these two are good with kids, and even are considered OKAY with cats! Good girls! These two are just a hoot together and we would LOVE to find them a home where they can be adopted out together if possible. Both dogs are spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. The previous owner says that they are housetrained as well!

If you are interested in Matty or Snoop, please visit our website, www.friendsofcanines.org, and check out our adoption process and fill out an adoption application. Thanks for considering these two great dogs. They both deserve a great home.
