Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poor Stumpy. His owner passed away and his whole world changed. Not only did he not have his person, but he lost his dachshund friend too that went to another rescue. Add in bladder crystals and a nasty mouth, and Stumpy’s Christmas wasn’t what it should have been. Stumpy is a trooper though and ready to move on with the rest of his life now. He’s been neutered, is on a prescription diet for his bladder crystals, and his mouth has been cleaned up.
Stumpy is approximately six years old, loves people, does nicely on a leash, is working hard on his house training, and tolerates a crate but would rather be hanging out with a person. He will need a home where he is the only dog or with another tolerant easy going female. (Because he thinks he is All That…and more.) He’s a happy loving boy that needs another home that loves him very much.
