My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Mona and although my story is a sad one, it has a happy ending! I was surrendered by my previous owner at an animal control facility in Los Angeles. I completely shut down in the shelter, and was so traumatized from being abandoned that I just curled up in a ball in the corner. I was profoundly depressed and very sad.

Fortunately, I was rescued by labsandfriends.org and went to a home where I could spend some time and reflect on my new situation. I am a shy and sensitive girl.

It took me a couple of weeks to recover from the trauma of the shelter, but I am now happy and healthy and ready for my forever home! I am very friendly and sweet. I like to tunnel under a blanket. I am a sensitive soul, so I need a peaceful, indoor only home. I have been around the other house kitties and would do best with a kitty friend who is very gentle or as an only kitty.

I am fixed, FIV/FELV negative, I have been microchipped and I am up to date on my shots. I hope to find my forever humans soon so I can give them all of my love!
