Shelly is a very sweet girl that will require a special family to adopt her. She has some fear issues with men and children, so her ideal home would be with a female couple or single female. She is the sweetest girl who has some trust issues with men and kids from her former life prior to coming to our rescue. She is a low maintenance dog as far as energy goes, she will just lay in your lap and follow you wherever you go. She does enjoy going for walks with her people She is good with cats and kittens and will tolerate other dogs as long as they are not in her face and very hyper. She is food protective, so if she does go to a home with other dogs she will have to be fed separate. She is a mature female who very much enjoys the company of her human.
