Jeppy came to the attention of Hope Marie's Fund in January when we were contacted by a local shelter to see if we could help with a very special dog who was owner surrendered because his owners' couldn't afford his heartworm treatments. You can donate here to help with his treatment
Jeppy is now ready for his forever home! Jeppy is two-years old and the perfect size at 41 lbs. He is crate trained and potty trained. Jeppy is ridiculously smart, extremely agile, and lots of fun to have around. He loves life and all adult humans and really enjoys doggy playmates too.
Although he would make a great only dog in an active home where he could get lots of exercise, Jeppy does not do well with children under 15 and could live with dogs who won't let him get away with his bossiness. He still needs some work on basic manners (he thinks hugs are the BEST!), and he tends to bully people and animals who let him get away with it. Jeppy has been adopted and returned a couple times now because we just can't find the home that fits him best! He's active, he's smart, he's handsome. If you plan to adopt Jeppy please know he comes with a training addendum and we would really like to find him a home that plans to spend time working with him and training, not expecting him to hang out in the backyard by himself.
