Jeremiah was a stray and wandered into a home where he was given refuge while the family looked for his real home. They tried very hard and asked all of their neighbors in the area, but nobody knew Jeremiah. They are packing to move, but they didn't want to put him out in the cold. So they turned him over to ARF. Jeremiah is about 6 months old and is very meek, even a bit shy. He isn't at all pushy or hyper; he's a gentleman! He loves to be petted, but he waits to be approached. When he sees someone is going to pet him, his tail starts to wag and he may roll over for a belly rub. He gives kisses to the hand that pets him and then rolls his eyes as if to ask if that is okay! He is 30-35 pounds and has a stocky build. Jeremiah will be a devoted dog once he bonds with his family.And he will respond quickly to kindness and good care! He is a very special boy who deserves a very special family!
