Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cubby Bear is a real catch. He and his 5 siblings were born in Rescue when their mom was brought into DVSHR as a pregnant stray. He was born on 4/13/08. His mother was a full breed Siberian Husky but the father is an unknown so we are posting him as a Siberian Mix. His mom and siblings were spoken for before we had an opportunity to post them. All of his siblings went to multiple dog households.
Cubby is an adorable, well adjusted, typical male pup. He is playful, curious and high energy. He is learning not to put his mouth on people and he loves to give kisses. He is doing well in foster home with an 11yr old male Chihuahua and a 2yr old male Siberian. He plays with and respects limits of the more mature dogs. If they correct him or give him a warning he will submit and show them his belly. Cubby knows sit and is learning to give his paw. He sleeps in a crate at night and is doing well with crate training. He whines when he first goes in but then settles down and goes to sleep. Cubby is trained to go pee on puppy pads if he has to go in between his yard time. Cubby loves to swim in a baby pool when in the yard. He loves any kind of ball, chew toy and plushy squeaker toy. Cubby is walking well on a leash without pulling but he is still small and this will need to be reinforced. He occasionally will zig zag while walking on the leash and cross in front of your feet. This is typical of a pup.
