Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tank is a gorgeous 1-year-old mantle-colored Great Dane who was found starved in a backyard. His rescuers had to carry him out of there! They nurtured him back to good health, and he now weighs 122 pounds, though he still needs to gain some more. Tank is still very much a puppy; he's like a 'bull in a China shop.' He's a smart boy that just needs consistent training. An obedience deposit will be required to ensure his success into adulthood. He already knows 'shake' and 'sit.' He will require an experienced Dane owner that understands the size and strength of the breed. All Tank wants to do is play, play, play! In Tank's previous temporary foster home, he jumped a 4-foot fence, so at least a 5-foot fenced-in yard is required. Tank is said to be housebroken and we are told that he gets along with dogs of all sizes. However, he may be too rough for the smaller ones due to his own size. His history with cats is unknown. Due to his size and energy level, he should be fine in a home with teens and up. COMING SOON: new pics and videos! Email plusdogs@ILDobeRescue.com
