My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Austin von Augsburg is the cutest 1-2 year old Shepherd mix. Austin aka “Daddy Long Legs” is the funniest dog you’ll ever meet! He is mid-to-high energy and walks great on leash, and loves zooming around the yard or beach by his foster home. After a good round of exercise he is extremely mellow and is often spotted taking up half the couch with his long legs dangling off. Happy and always up for an adventure, Austin will thrive in an active household who loves his companionship. Going out for brunch? Austin will sit right next to you, wagging at passersby and other dogs. Going on a hike? Austin will be two steps ahead but will constantly smile back at you as if to say, “come on, let’s go!” Watching the sports channel? Austin will be right next to you on the couch, helping you cheer for your favorite team. Austin lives with both large and small dogs, as well as a 4-year-old human, and is wonderful with all of them. He does not like to share his dinners or bones with other pets. He is crate-trained, housebroken and ready to go home with you! He just hopes that there are no cats in his home. Austin is in a foster/trainer's home near Ventura Beach in SoCal and can be transported to OR/WA up the I-5 corridor. The fee for ground transport besides the adoption fee is $215 for Oregon and $240 for Washington. Please reply to this posting and a link for the adoption application will be sent via email to you.
