WHAT  A  GREAT  LITTLE  LOVE  BUG!!

Cassie is a Maltese mix with long, lovely legs, and she can scoot around pretty fast! She is only 5 years old and came to SCMR because her owner was moving and couldn't take her with him. She is very underweight and is eating heartily to put on some curves. She was down to 7.8 pounds and probably should weigh 9-10 lbs. But she likes her Life's Abundance! At this rate, she should fill out very soon. She was also badly matted and had to have a shave down, but her coat will be nice and soft when it grows back out. Cassie loves to be stroked and is very affectionate. She's good with other dogs, cats and children if any happen to be around. SCMR does not adopt to families with children under 10. She adapts very quickly and just soaks up attention like a sponge. Cassie would be a great playmate for an active dog.
