Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlie is a quiet, gentle cat who is content to spend his days relaxing or sleeping. In his original home, he loved to nap in the sun on the back porch. In his foster home, he enjoys playing with his catnip toy or a teaser wand, but mostly he is happy to do his own thing: keeping warm curled on a soft rug or near the radiator. He likes to sit next to his humans, although he is still shy about petting. Food gets his attention, so his foster is training him to “sit” on cue (yes, for a cat!). We sometimes call him the “little lion” because of the way he strides slowly around the room when he’s relaxed, as well as because of his handsome champagne color and fluffy coat. Born around 8/15/2008, Charlie was bred at home but lost his original family in 2015 when they moved. They described him as playful, confident, mellow and independent, but after they left, Charlie was deeply sad. He is still searching for his happily-ever-after. Charlie hopes to find a caring, patient and compassionate adopter who has experience with cats and will allow him all the time he needs to open up. He will be so grateful to finally find a safe, caring forever home.
