Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Those who say cats can survive outside should reconsider. An animal loving mail carrier on her route in rural Catawissa came across 15 cats in the yard of a home on her route. Anyone could see this was a sickly group. She put food down and they all came quickly running. It was unsure if the property owner was even feeding them. Luckily they were all friendly, but anyone could see they needed immediate medical care. ARC came to their aid and had them to the vet as fast as we could get appointments. All had varying degrees of upper respiratory infections, ear mites, fleas, lice and diarrhea. They wouldn’t have much time if left as they were.
We can only imagine what Sangria’s pretty long black fur must look like, but it was filled with fleas and lice before she came to us. She has recovered from her upper respiratory after being treated with antibiotics. She is very friendly when approached and enjoys cuddling with her buddy Sutton. She is small in size and would make a nice quiet companion. She deserves a loving home after what she endured living outside all her short life. Sangria is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on shots, litter trained, recently had a dental and is spayed.. If you are interested in adopting Sangria please contact Michelle at 570-759-0920.
