Meet Yeti! He was rescued at the tender young age of nine weeks! He is currently in a home with two big dogs, both female and male and three cats! He is a happy active puppy who loves to play and explore with his mouth, but easily corrects and loves to work for treats! Yeti already knows sit and come. He loves his furry friends and responds well to their warnings and corrections. Yeti also loves to cuddle. At ten weeks, he weighs in at 12#!, so he will probably be a large dog at around 60# or so, when fully grown. Yeti would do best in a home with another dog, so he can continue to learn appropriate doggie behavior and socialization. He enjoyed playing playing with his five month old Cairn Terrier "cousin" Mia as well as his foster mom and dad! Yeti is definitely a mama's boy and is doing very well with crate training and potty training, but will need consistency and positive reinforcement, while also learning from other canine team members.
Yeti's adoption fee is $300 and includes neuter, dew claw removal, all vaccinations, veterinary wellness check, microchip, first two months of heartguard, flea and tick prevention and two months of pet insurance. Yeti will not be neutered before adoption, due to his young age and increased risk of ACL tears in large breed dogs. As part of the adoption contract, he will be brought back, at 8 months, to be neutered.
