Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Luke must have been someone's dog at one time because he is very well-behaved, he keeps his kennel very clean, and he thinks the sound of a car door opening is an invitation to jump right in! But this gorgeous, happy boy was found as a stray and never claimed, so we're looking for a home for this boy who will never let him go. Lovable Luke is a super social boy -- friendly, happy and just a bit on the goofy side, he's bound to make a Lab-lover out of anybody! He's gotten along well with all the dogs at the shelter, especially the females and the younger pups, but he's a confident male; he's not interested in any conflicts but he's not going to let anyone push him around so if there are other males in the house, they'll have to let him wear the crown (but he'll be a very nice King!). He needs a bit more leash work to become perfect, but he's so smart we know he'll learn quickly, and he will love working with his new person -- he's the type of dog who will be so appreciative that you're spending time with him, and he'll do anything to please you back. We think Luke is about 2 -3 years old, he weighs about 60 pounds with a bit more to gain, and he's a very healthy boy. We are not sure what his true mix is, but his heart is solid gold.
