Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Momma Cleo is one of our rescued mommas who came in nursing her pups. Cleo is twelve to eighteen months old and is now house trained and knows commands. Cleo is good with other dogs and FULL of energy, but loves to be a coach potato! Cleo is easily excited so we recommend her to go to a family without small children. Cleo is a big pup herself and she may knock over a small child. She loves belly rubs, kisses, long walks/runs. She can play fetch until you are done, and then she is content to keep working on that squeaker on her own. A fence is not necessarily required, Cleo is leash trained and is able to go potty on a leash. Exercise will be an important daily activity for Cleo so she may run and play. She actually prefers to go outside with her human. She doesn't like to do her "business" alone.. She loves sleeping on her dog bed, while her people sleep in their own bed. She doesn't even try to jump in unless she is asked too!! Her "happy tail" has been shortened. The Whippet in her has taken over and she is just too happy for her own good. This long legged girl would love to show you how much fun life can be!

All adopted pets are current with rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations. All of our rescued pets are micro~chipped and spay or neutered. While some of our pets available have been treated for heart worm or tested heart worm negative all of our pets will be current on heart worm preventative. All heart worm information is available to all applicants as this information is crucial to the well being of the pet.
