Abbey (mom) Cooper (son) are a very bonded pair. They are pure bred and Abbey was used for breeding. They were turned in by their owner due to downsizing. Both are crate trained, not food aggressive, take treats gently, no accidents in the house, they sit by the door when they have to go out, they don’t beg at table, leash trained, don’t bark very often and Cooper loves his tug ropes and to play ball. They enjoy car rides but Abbey needs help getting into a high vehicle. Both love belly rubs, hugs and love giving kisses but they don’t lick.
Cooper: No medical issues. This large love bug wants to be with his people. He does have a little separation anxiety when first left alone in the crate (barks and cries) and is very excited when let out of the crate. He had the bad habit of jumping on people and taking their arm to take them where he wanted to go. We have been working on this since he came and has really come a long way. At bed time Cooper sleeps in our room either in the crate on a floor bed and sometimes in the humans bed. He does get on the couch and beds and will counter surf if not supervised. Cooper would do better in a
home where someone is there most of the day.
