My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the gorgeous Dixie! She is an awesomely unique mix of Airedale Terrier and Golden Retriever. She was brought to the shelter on 3/15/16 along with a kitty cat named Faye (#582803) when their owner could no longer financially care for the pets. They are a stunning pair and must be seen in person to really appreciate. Dixie is about 8 years and weighs 78 lbs. Dixie is just the friendliest girl and is GOOD WITH CATS, DOGS and KIDS and HOUSEBROKEN. She knows all her basic commands such as SIT, STAY and LAY DOWN. Dixie and Kitty Cat Faye don't need to be adopted together, however if you are looking for a dog and a kitty pair they sure would love to stay together. It is not required and they can be adopted separately. She is current on her vaccines and micro chipped. She will be spayed and heartworm tested upon adoption. Dixie's ID # is 582804 and she can be found in cage 802. This girl is too special to pass up, hurry and come meet her today!

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
