Hi. My name is Duke.McGreggor. I'm 6 yrs old and weigh about 17 pounds. As you can see, I'm a very handsome boy and I'm an easy going guy most of the time.
My last person didn't have the time to give me the attention I needed. You see, I love people and I love attention, so I reeeaaaally love the combination of attention from people. I like to be a part of whatever my people are doing. But I'm also good at sharing the attention with other doggies, too. I'm pretty easy to please and laid back and I get along with other dogs really well.
I didn't like the crate at first (and sometimes I still complain a little) but I'm getting used to it and learning that my Foster Mommy and Daddy come back in a few hours and I don't have to stay in the crate for a long time like I used to. I don't argue a bit about sleeping in a crate at night, just as long as it's next to my peoples' bed, and I know that they are there beside me.
I love to lay on the couch with my Foster Mommy and Foster Siblings and watch tv and cuddle. I'm a big cuddle bug and I'm a good boy when my Foster Daddy takes me to work with him. I sit in a fluffy bed under his desk and play with my toys while he works.
I'm good at going potty outside and I do ok on a leash, unless I see a squirrel and then I pull some and bark cause I'm excited and want to play with the little guy. I like to play chase with my Foster Doggie Siblings , so I'd kind of like a fenced yard where I could run around. I really like to run and play outside, but sometimes I'll just sit back and watch what's going on around me. I also like to play with toys . I don't chew them to pieces like some doggies do. I just play with them. I'm usually kind of quiet and don't make much noise (unless there's a squirrel and then, like I said, I get a little excited and talkative).
I know how to sit and lay down, and I'll do both those commands extra fast if there is a treat involved. My Foster Mommy says I'm a really good boy and I'm really smart and that my new family is going to fall in love with me really fast the same way she did. She says she's not sure how she's going to be able to let me go 'cause I'm just sooooo cute and lovable. I'm going to miss them, but I'm excited to meet my new family to spend forever and ever with. And I hope my new family has at least 1 doggy brother or sister for me, so I can have somebody to play with. And a fenced yard so we can play chase outside together while my new people watch us have fun. I can't wait!
