My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cage is an adorable 3 year old neutered Bassett/Heeler mix that was turned over to the local shelter, when his owner no longer wanted him. Cage would truly love to find a home and family he can call his own. A place where he can run and play while being shown the love and affection he deserves. This very cute little boy is current with his shots, been wormed, heart worm negative and micro chipped. Cage appears to get along great with everyone (big and small) as well as other canine companions. At this time, it is not known how he will do around cats. Cage appears to be housetrained, knows some basic commands, rides great in a car, doesnÂ’t mind being in his crate, and walks just fine on a leash. If you would like to arrange a meeting with this very different (one of a kind) looking boy, please call 469-698-8898 to schedule the time and place. A re-homing fee is being asked and will be used to help other animals in need.
