Organized by the REFUGE POUR CHATS DE VERDUN, adoption days are held every other Sunday at the Marcel-Giroux community centre,4501 Bannantyne Street in Verdun from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. See the event calendar for the next adoption days. The adoption fee is $145, in cash, which includes two vaccines, sterilization and treatment for fleas, ear mites and a deworming. Merci ! Jacqueline a environ 2 ans. Elle a t recueillie cet t peu aprs les dmnagements de juillet. C'est une chatte affectueuse, joueuse et trs attachante. Elle aime se faire bercer dans vos bras et vous n'avez qu' lui dire quelques mots pour qu'elle se mette ronronner de bonheur. Malheureusement, le test a rvl qu'elle tait atteinte du virus F.I.V. (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Les chats qui sont atteints de ce virus peuvent nanmoins vivre une vie normale mais plus courte, soit entre 8 et 10 ans. Ils sont plus sujets des infections de toutes sortes et ne doivent pas cohabiter avec d'autres chats, moins qu'ils soient atteints du mme virus. She was rescued this past summer after the infamous July moving day. She is very affectionate, playful and charming. She loves to be held in you arms and you only have to say a few words before she starts purring with joy. If she looks a little sad, it may be because she has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Cats with this virus can, nevertheless, live a normal life though usually for eight or ten years. They are more apt to get infections of various kinds and should, therefore, be in a home with no other cats or with others that have the same virus.
