Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jordan has been in rescue for over 6 months and has hardly anyone inquire about him. Can you help him find a new home where he can learn to be a spoiled dog?------------------------- Jordan is a seven year old blue and white neutered male with legs like a newborn fawn! He has a beautiful long body and incredible light amber eyes. In addition to his good looks he has a very soft personality..definitely not the leader of the pack! He is working on his shyness with his foster family and now wags his tail and gives kisses. He is crate trained and is generally quiet in the house. Jordan should find a forever home with no small children and lot of carpeting. The hardwood floors at his foster home are a challenge for him since he is 'all legs' and a big clumsy at high speeds! Jordan is a sweet but somewhat skiddish and somewhat clumbsy. He is a dog who requires a lot of extra care, patience and socialization. He does well with other iggies and has no reaction when people enter the home. His foster family has never heard him bark. He prefers to spend his days in his kennel, but has progressed to leaving his kennel to go lay on the couch. He does not explore the rest of him home. He enjoys furry and squeaky toys and will squeak a toy for a half an hour (if his foster family lets him.) Jordan may have poor eye sight and has very few teeth left. He eats softened food. He needs to be given food mixed with lots of water. Otherwise, he is a good eater. His housetraining has progressed, but at a slow pace. He is trained to go potty outside but when he has accidents it is usually in his kennel. He has made attempts to let his foster family know he needs to go outside. Jordan will not walk on a leash when taken for walks alone, but will walk just fine when another iggie goes on a walk with him. Jordan will do well in a home with other ig's who can lead the way. Please consider Jordan as your companion...make the rest of his life the time of your life! Jordan is located in Omaha. Please do research on this breed if you do not have experience with them or check our website for more information.May 6, 2024, 12:08 am
