My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tony is a young male Italian Greyhound who was turned over to IGCA Rescue by an animal shelter in central Nebraska becuase they were over crowded. Before arriving at that shelter Tony was found walking (probably running) down a highway in central Nebraska. Due to his low body weight he was probably out on his own for a little while before he was picked up. He is a very friendly dog and approaches people when called. He has an ear that folds forward sometimes that makes him look like a wild puppy. Since he was found as a stray we don't konw his exact age, but he is probably around 1 or 1.5 years old. His teeth are in great shape so that leads us to believe he is young. Tony has an appointment to be fixed in early April and his shots updated as well. He is a very active little guy and loves to wrestle with the other foster dogs in the house. He likes to chase things, and chew on sticks on the yard. Tony does need to work on his potty habits, but that should improve quick once he is fixed. He probably won't be in rescue very long becuase he is so cute. Tony has a blue coat with white Irish markings. This dog is being fostered in Lincoln, NE and local adoptions are preferred.May 6, 2024, 12:08 am
