Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Flash is a full blooded Italian Greyhound. His color is a very dark seal almost black, and he has a white chest with a little that extends up toward his neck. Flash arrived in rescue from the Nebraska Humane Society in Omaha after his owners moved to a new house that doesn't allow pets. This boy was obtained from a Petland petstore by his first owners, and they probably were not aware of the neediness of this breed for attention. This little guy is very attached to people and follows people from room to room staying within about a two foot distance. Flash seems to know how to sit and stay, but he doesn't like to be in his kennel and will let you know it. Flash is quick as lightning if you would let him run, so that is why he needs a fenced yard. Italian Greyhounds are sighthounds and will chase rabbits, birds, squirrels or anything else that moves and he won't stop at a street when on a chase. Flash likes to cuddle and plays with the other dogs at his foster home some. His previous home had children, but he seems to shy away fom them some. Some of his favorite toys include pull ropes, balls and stuffed animals. If you want a cuddly boy then flash will keep you warm. His potty habits are average and he has an accident every few days, so he will need somebody to continue working with him. The good thing is that he does try and give signals that he needs something by standing near the door and whining. Flash is being fostered in Lincoln, NE. We prefer local adoptions but frequently have adopted to SD, ND, IA, KS and Winnipeg, Canada. Flash will be adopted to a home without small children.May 6, 2024, 12:08 am
