Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Parker is a black and white Iggy, about 6 months old, who looks to grow to be a big boy judging by the size of his feet and legs. He is not very fond of going outside in the cold to potty but has the basic concept as long as someone has a lot of patience and pays close attention to make sure he gets outside in time. He’s been learning how to use a dog door with his foster brothers and sisters and is picking it up pretty well.
Parker is very energetic and he loves to run, play, bounce and wrestle and can be a little overwhelming for the cats sometimes but he’s not mean natured at all. He would do well with a yard big enough for him to run in. When play time is over, Parker will be the first one to settle in for a long cuddle and a nap. His favorite place to be is curled up in a blanket with his human or curled up with his foster sister in the sun.
He chases the neighbor dogs, and the cats but the few rabbits that we've seen haven't drawn his attention. It's more of a play chasing... I would say not a big chasing instinct at this point. Parker will soon be fixed and he is already up-to-date on shots. Currently he is being fostered in Lincoln, NE.
This little guy and 14 other dogs were part of a rescue effort between the Kearney NE Humane society, the Nebraska IG Rescue, and the State of Nebraska. The Nebraska IG Rescue ended up taking 11 of the 14 Italian Greyhounds, and 3 stayed with the Kearney Humane society. You can read more about at the following website.
