My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Jewel" is a 10 pound poodle whose owner is ill and no longer able to care for her pets. Jewel is super friendly, great with other dogs, cats, adults & children too. She loves her crate, her toys and your lap!

Jewel is 12 years old, but if you know anything about poodles, you know that's more like middle-age and Jewel is no exception. She is a bouncy, active girl, who likes to run and play. She lives with a cat and enjoys playing with him. Jewel is up to date on vaccines and healthy.

Jewel cannot be off leash in an unfenced area - she will take herself on a little jaunt around the neighborhood. So we are looking for a home with a fenced in yard, or someone who will only take her out on lead. Given Jewel's tendency to roam, we prefer a home with adults.
