My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a precious 11 year old owner give up. Her family moved to Europe and did not feel that they could take her with them. She is heartworm negative, vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Our veterinarian did a dental as soon as she came into rescue. She is precious and loving, totally laid back. She loves walks and car rides. She is fine with children and other dogs.
We require that our dogs live indoors with access to a securely fenced yard. We do home visits and check vet references prior to an adoption. We also require that our dogs be on monthly heartworm prevention. Our adoption fee of $300 will be reduced a bit due to her age. Lucy needs a loving family to spend her remaining years with. Lucy is still in New Orleans with Looziana Basset Rescue but can be easily transported up to Putnam, CT using Rescue Road Trips.
