My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE - Adoption Pending! 4/29/16 Tilly is a 10 year old Yorkie that found herself homeless, along with her human. The human knew she couldn't keep her sweet girl in this situation, and a kind person stepped in and offered to find her a new home. That's when we found out about her and how Tilly became one of Bongo's Buddies. Sadly, Tilly's coat was so matted that the best way to get her clean and feeling pretty was to clipper off her coat, but we know in a couple of months she'll be looking like a regal princess! Tilly is house trained, is a perfect lady when out for walks on a leash, and she prefers to stay close to her people but is not a cuddler. She is fine with other calm dogs but doesn't like when others play rough or loud and will show her little bit of her senior attitude to let them know she's not happy with them rough-housing in her presence. She enjoys going for rides in the car and is a smart girl, knowing a number of words - I think she even knows how to sit. She is up to date on her vetting, just had a badly needed dental, and she's ready for her Forever home to find her. Tilly is a tall girl and weighs a little over 14#- not a pocket dog. She is not happy with being crated at night but will settle in in just a few minutes - her highness would prefer to be on the bed at her human's feet or in a soft bed nearby. Please check out our website and contact us at the e-mail listed for more information on our adoption process as we require 2 personal references plus a vet reference and a home visit before we consider placing one of our dogs in a new home - they have been through so much, and we want this adoption to be the best fit for the dog AND the people. Tilly's adoption donation is $200.
