My story

Hello, my name is Lucy Lou, formerly known as Muffin. I've been in foster care for quite some time now, but my foster Mom says there is a someone out there just waiting to love me, they just haven't found me yet. She calls me a Mini Shepherd, even though there is no such breed. I am a small 35 lb girl with a little brindle in my reddish coat. I love long walks and just sitting on the deck making sure no squirrels invade the yard. I'll be a loyal friend and lay by your chair or next to your bed. I get along well with other dogs and would like a playmate if you have one for me, but I have lived as an only dog for most of my life. I've only had one other home but my person had to move to assisted living and could not take me with. I am house trained, crate trained and I know the commands sit and stay. I recently hurt my back but after a few weeks of rest the doctor said I made great progress and could start taking walks and slowly get back to normal. I can't wait to start playing, running and taking long walks again. If you think I'm the girl you've been waiting to love, give my foster Mom a call and come to meet me. Lucy Lou is approximately 9 years old, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative (on a monthly preventative) and up to date on vaccinations.
