My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alvin Russian Blue-Maine Coon mixed 2 y/o male fully vetted and socialized

Rescue History:
Owner surrendered this handsome boy to our rescue after he had found him as a kitten running feral. Kept inside for almost 1 year by previous owner and naming him Alvin he allowed him to wander outside where he was attacked by feral dogs. Taking him to a family farm where he could be safe Alvin found his way back home where again the feral dogs attacked him leaving the owner to us. Alvin has been with us since and is working on his fear of dogs.

Personal Info:
Born as a feral kitten that was rescued and domesticated Alvin kept growing is size and weight making capture harder for previous owner. Alvin is a love bug that came to us matted, full of ear mites and cranky. His attitude is that of an old grouchy man when he is distressed or in pain otherwise 98% of the time he is a sweet loving angel. Being Russian Blue his fur is gray/blue with only one small white patch on his belly and having long hair grooming is required for his breed. Adopters must be experienced and have no children or dogs.

Vetting Info:
Fully vetted, vaccinated, combo tested, Rabies vaccinated and awaiting neuter.
Yearly vaccines, yearly Rabies, Yearly combo test required after adoption.

Social & Training Info:
Great with other cats, children and adults Alvin's cannot be around dogs due to his fear from his previous living situation. Litter trained, eating regular diet, crate trained and grooming required with sedation.

Adoption Info:
Fee: $75 includes vet care
The Following is Required: Meet & Greet, Background Check, Questionnaire, Vet References, Landlord Approval, Home Check, Signed Contract
