My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

No one loves life more than Otis since being freed from his life on a chain the first 18 months of life. He is so excited about the world around him, and cannot get enough of what it has to offer.

He LOVES to play fetch with the tennis ball, play in the water, go for walks, and play with toys. Otis loves the company of other dogs, and is still learning how to turn it down a notch as his enthusiasm can be a bit much still. When he is chilling out, he loves to sprawl out and lay like a frog for maximum belly cooling.

If Otis were human, we could see him as Mr. All-Star athlete. He can do flips when trying to catch a frisbee, sprint to the bottom of the yard to chase a ball or play chase with his favorite gal pal Annabeth, leap off the railing of our patio, and dive for a ball in a pond.

Otis is very intelligent and also eager to please, so he should be a model canine citizen in no time. He already knows sit, and will drop the ball for you so you can throw it again. As active as Otis is, he is totally content hanging out in the evenings next to his people, and when it's time for bed he happily moseys into his crate and goes to sleep without a peep.

Got kids? He is used to living in a home with a teenage human sibling, and although he has not yet had any experiences with younger ones he loves people, and would probably do well with them.
