Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Champ is awesome! If you are looking for an incredibly happy-go-lucky, goofy, wonderfully awkward puppy Champ is your dog!
This kid is just exactly what you imagine a puppy to be. He is so playful, snuggable, sweet and soft you just want to hold on to him forever!
Champ has had a rough time in his short life. When taken to the vet for his first round of vaccinations it was discovered that at some point in during his 8 weeks of life, his back leg had been broken in half.
By examining the break, the vet concluded that the break was caused by a downward pressure- almost like a stomp.
We’ll never know what caused Champ’s back leg to break but we do know that at some point in time, this poor puppy was in a lot of pain and was never treated for it.
Remember how I said Champ is awesome? Well, now you know why. Despite having this traumatic injury, Champ is beyond sweet, trusting and loving. He just wants to be everybody’s best friend.
His leg is almost all healed up so he is ready to begin looking for his furever home.
Champ is being fostered in a home with children and other dogs. He gets along great with both! He also is being crate trained and has never had an accident in the house or his crate! What a smart baby!
