My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING - I have no information on this sweetie. Please contact Shelbi directly at her e-mail address noted below - THX!!

Mia is an 8 year old, Female English bulldog full of life and love. She is spayed and up to date on all health and vaccination check-ups. She’s just a little girl weighing in at 42 pounds. Here is a little bit about our sweet Mia girl:

First. Mia absolutely loves a good butt scratch! She also loves the sun and will lay out there until she overheats so it’s important that you remind her to come in and drink water because she won’t leave the sun on her own. She loves to cuddle up in the crooks of your legs when you are lying down or she is perfectly content with a nice soft dog bed on the floor. Mia doesn’t mind being in her crate at all; although she does a great job being out of it whether you are home or not. She sometimes will just lie in her crate because she wants to not because she has to. She loves a good walk but it can’t be too long because she gets tired easily:. Mia makes the perfect wingman in the car. She loves to lay in the passenger seat or the back seat and just cruise along. She has been a great travel buddy on road trips. She loves to be pet, given lots of love and a toy to chew on when she gets a wild hair. She is perfectly content with a day full of lounging and loves to have ice cubes especially when it is hot. Mia will play with a plastic water bottle for hours if you let her and she won’t appreciate it if you try to get her swim. We have a life jacket for her but she swims as fast as she can to the edge to get out every single time. She would much rather just lay in the sun. Mia is sometimes easily scared by big things being held in the air above her, like big boxes, ladders, ironing boards etc. She also really does not like plastic bags. She will normally just react to these things by barking and running away. Baths and getting her nails cut are not her favorite thing but she won’t give you too much trouble if you just let her know she is okay while you do it. Mia has a sensitive stomach so she does not like to be given people food or treats that have unnatural things in them. She loves people. If you or others are around she likes to be in the same room so she doesn’t miss out on anything but she will be calm and hang out, not causing any trouble. She also loves when new people visit and will greet them at their feet hoping for a butt scratch. She likes to bark when people come to the door to let them know she’s here and let them know that they better be nice if they come in! But there are no consequences to that bark. Don’t let the bad guys know that though! Mia does not like to share her attention with other dogs; therefore it is better if she is the only dog in the home. Mia would absolutely love to be in a home where she is the only pet and where she has a loving owner that thinks she is the most adorable thing She would definitely not complain if you let her share the couch with you and sleep at the foot of your bed!
