Chaplin-great walker!'s Story...
This sweet little boy is approx 2-4 years old and 10 lbs. He looks like a chi/doxie mix. He loves people of all shapes and sizes. We cat and bunny tested him and he is fine! He gets along with other dogs, will play a little, but will hang out with them in a doggie bed. He loves to sleep in his doggie bed and will roll over for belly rubs. He is just a charming little dog that will make a great companion for someone. He had heart worms and was treated with the required set of injections, and is on a monthly preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chaplin-great walker!, a Norwalk Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
