Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rowan is one gorgeous hunk of love who has a zest for life. Unfortunately, life has not always so good to him. Rowan was one of 15 starving cats found by an animal loving mail carrier on her rural route. The cats were in dire need of help and, after making sure all had food, she called the ARC for assistance.
Rowan had a gaping wound on his cheek and tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). We know that cats with FIV can live long and normal lives therefore we have given Rowan all the tender care he deserves. His wound has totally healed and he is now the picture of health.
Rowan has returned this unexpected kindness from people with a special affection of his own. He meows greetings as soon as he hears his foster family come home and greets them with gentle rubs and head butts. He is very affectionate and enjoys the company of people. He has also met some canine friends. Of course, the best time in the world in dinner time! Who would have thought that food could actually come on a dish. He has also learned the joys of chasing toys just for fun.
Rowan is neutered, up to date on vaccines. He would be a wonderful feline companion for an individual or family.
He can be placed solo, with other FIV positive cats or with friendly feline/canine companions.
