NEW YORK LOCATION
DEVENNA IS LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME
Devenna is very happy 3 yr old pocket pittie weighing about 45lbs. She's super sweet and very affectionate with people & children. She is located in NY.
Devenna is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, microchipped, house-trained, and okay on lead.
She always had a home where she was the only pet, and was only surrendered when her owner was experiencing serious personal hardships. Thus, at present, Devenna is dog selective and is not good with cats.
Devenna is a strong little powerhouse, and loves to play Frisbee & run around with her tennis ball. At the same time she loves to cuddle & nuzzle and be with her people, to whom she gives lots of kisses and is very attentive.
Devenna is good with commands and will make a really great pet for a home where she's the only dog. However, with better socialization possibly under the supervision of a professional trainer she will eventually become better with other dogs. Rising Dove Rescue will happily provide professional training sessions with her new owner.
She would do best in a home where her new family will work with her and do the training sessions. It's a process but she's adorable and loving and worth a little bit of work to continue to help socialize her with other dogs.
