My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a cute and scruffy puppy? Well have we got the guy for you. Meet Alfalfa! This little heartbreaker is a 5 month old miniature schnauzer/terrier mix, guaranteed to steal the show anywhere he goes. He is such a little lovebug that when we needed somebody to man our puppy kissing booth recently, Alfalfa was our obvious choice for the job, and boy, did he do it well. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the pooch smooch booth that day. Alfalfa is young and still in need of basic training. He is very bright and well behaved, as long as he has a family willing to provide guidance and love we have no doubt that he’ll excel. If you’re family is looking to grow by one and you’re in need of loads of scruffy puppy kisses, don’t hesitate to call The Pet Rescue Center today and ask for Alfalfa.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
