My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammie is a beautiful dog. He is approx 3-4 yrs old and 65 lbs..He looks like a labradoodle mix with maybe some wheaten or sheepdog in him. He loves kids and playing tug of war, but is very timid and shy at first. It takes him some time to warm up to new people and will need an owner with some patience and love to get him over his fear. He will bark at strangers until he knows them. He does really well on leash and hops right up in the car to go for a ride. He also seems to be well house trained. He has to learn to trust a new owner and will run off until I can get a leash on him and then he's just as good as gold...He has not started playing with the other dogs yet, but does really well with them and has no food or dog aggression..

The total adoption cost of $475 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration . The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.
