Shooter's Story...
Shooter's my name, and snuggling is my game! Hey there, I'm Shooter! I'm new to this whole "foster home" thing, but let me tell you, I'm getting the hang of it! I love most everyone I come in contact with, especially if they have an extra scratch for my ear. I like kids and dogs, and since I'm a little older, I'm not hyper like some of those puppies I've been around. I'm calm and don't really bark much. These nice people at the vet said I'm about 10 years old, and I had a bad sore on my ear that they fixed up for me. Otherwise, I'm in great shape! I've been fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Now, to just find a forever home to spend the rest of my time in. That would be so wonderful! Do you know where I can find a forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shooter, a Valley City Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Valley City, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Valley City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Valley City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Valley City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Valley City paves the way for another one to be saved.
