My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DAISY IN GEORGETOWN, TEXAS HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

Daisy came to rescue as an owner surrender after her owner died. She is approx. 9 lbs. and 12 yrs. old, but don’t let her age fool you! She is active, sweet and happy!! Daisy moved into her foster home and settled right in. She loves everyone she meets: people, other dogs, cats, and she even enjoyed meeting the horse!

Daisy loves to go for walks. She rides calmly and quietly in the car. She is housebroken and crate trained. She sleeps on her own blanket at the foot of her foster mom’s bed. Daisy’s main interest is to spend her time with you, but she isn’t pushy or overwhelming. Daisy’s foster mom says that she is a wonderful easy dog to live with.

Daisy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heart worm negative, on preventative, micro chipped and had a recent dental.

Could you be Daisy's perfect forever family? This lovely girl is in great health and should be around for a while. Will you give her a forever home?

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.

We do not place dogs in homes reliant on electric or invisible fencing to contain pets. Fencing of this type may or may not keep a dog in the yard, nor does this type of fencing protect pets from predators, free roaming dogs, or people who may enter the yard. Should there be a power outage, the fence would be rendered useless. If a pet were to panic and run through the barrier and take an electrical jolt from the fence, that pet would not be inclined to return home, and could be lost forever.
