Ben is a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Mix. He is red in color. He is around 4-5 years old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 60 pounds.
Ben is a real gentlemen. He has such a sweet attitude. He loves to be around you, slowly follow you around the house and rest at your feet. Once you get him outside he's full of life, but only when you want him to be. He loves to play fetch with one of his stuffed toys, and he'll carry it around the yard the whole time until you ask him to play fetch with it. He loves the water, loves to kick up his feet in the baby pool in the backyard. Ben is great in the car, loves to stick his head out of the window to get a cool breeze. He likes to go for walks as well, especially if you go at a jogging pace.
Ben would do well in any household. He's a real sweetheart that just loves to be loved on. He's great with children, loves to wrestle around with them and have them rub him and brush him. He would do well with other dogs as well, he likes to be with other dogs, but would also do well as the only dog. He likes being loved on and would enjoy any family environment.
Ben is not aggressive with other dogs, he's been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors. There is a $95 adoption fee for puppies, and a $85 adoption fee for Adult/Senior Dogs.
