My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We would like to introduce you to our pal, Baby! Every person that meets this sweet girl loves her and Baby truly loves every person right back. Baby’s story is a little sad: She was dropped off at a boarding facility when her original owner fell on tough times and he unfortunately, never came back for her. Despite being abandoned, Baby’s spirits are still high and she remains one of the happiest girls around. At just 1-and-a-half-years old, Baby is still really young and fairly active, she would make a fabulous jogging partner. At the moment we believe she would do best as a single dog (the only pet in the house) but with some time and socialization she may be able to coexist with another dog in the future. With training, we have no doubt that she will succeed as she is a very bright and enthusiastic student. This lovable, compact staffie deserves a family that will cherish her and keep her safe. She has so much love to give to someone just willing to give her a chance. Contact The Pet Rescue Center today to meet Baby.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
