Hi! My name is Lizzie, I'm about three years old and I am a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. My Family had to give me up because they could no longer care for me, I have had a really hard time adjusting to not having them around. They were all I've ever known, so being on my own makes me have some anxiety. I need a companion, a human one. Someone to call my own. Once I fall for you, I will never leave your side. I crave a sense of security so I need a human who will provide leadership and safety by taking the time to develop a bond through exercise, training, and affection. This is why I need an experienced and dedicated owner. I like other dogs but if they have to high energy it makes me nervous and I would do best in a home with no small children because I don't like when my personal space is invaded to much, its scary. I love to go to the dog park and go hiking and I really love to play in the water, but there is nothing that I will love more than my new family. I will be the most loyal friend you've ever had.
