.Rey!!! Named after the leading character from the new Star Wars movie, this girl is awesome!
Rey is 2 years old and just the perfect dog. She has never had an accident in the house, loves to go in her crate, doesn't chew on anything!, never barks unless seriously provoked, gets along great with other dogs, LOVES kids!
Seriously...she is the perfect dog....and how she got this way is beyond us. Given Rey's history- she should be bitter. She should not want to love us. But she does. She truly loves all humans.
Rey was dumped on the streets Hilltown sometime during one of her first pregnancies. For months, Dogs of Hilltown would feed Rey and her only surviving daughter. Rey was always the first one to run up to us when we would drive by her usual hangout. She was always so friendly and happy. The poor girl was just skin and bones but she was always very polite and ALWAYS let her little daughter eat first.
Once we captured Rey and her daughter, they were placed into a loving foster home. Rey's daughter has been adopted and now Rey is looking for her furever home.
If you are looking for a dog that is still young but has grown out of all the annoying puppy habits then Rey is your girl.
She wants to please you so bad that if you even say her name in a harsh manner she comes up to you with her big brown eyes and begs you to forgive her. Its the sweetest most sad thing ever. This poor girl has had such a hard life becuase of horrible humans and yet she still wants to love you.
Please consider adopted Rey. She really is the perfect dog. You'd be lucky to have her as your family member.
We've included some photos of Rey before she was rescued from the streets. You can see how loving she was despite her harsh conditions.
Dogs of HIlltown is located near Frisco Texas and for the safety of our dogs, we only accept adoption applications from in-state.
We require all those interested in our dogs and puppies to fill out an adoption application complete with personal and veterinary references. Once an application has been approved, DOH schedules a homecheck with the potential adopter.
Our adoption fee is $200 - that includes- all age appropriate vaccinations, sterilization, and microchip.
All our dogs are heartwormed and fecal tested and vetted to the fullest before they are adopted out.
We take pride in the health of our former street dogs. They came from horrible conditions and we never want them to feel another moment of illness or pain.
