Let's hear it for this little sweetie!

DATE:  1/28/22

Solstice, born around 2015, is a petite black short-haired female cat with a white chest, stomach, and paws.

Solstice has lived at Almost Home for longer than she should have. That’s because when she was first here, she was shy and needed to be coaxed out of her shell. But over time, she has come to trust the staff and volunteers here. Now, when you enter her room, she purrs or meows to let you know you’re welcome. And she loves being petted.

She lives in a small room with windows that look onto the rescue’s lobby. She spends much of her time looking out the windows to see what’s going on. She’s seen hundreds of other cats being adopted, and she’s wondering when it will be her turn.

She needs a quiet home with a special person or family willing to give her time to build trust in them. Also, since Solstice has been here a while, she will need time to adjust to a new home.

If you’re loving and patient, you’ll enjoy the rewards of getting to know Solstice. She’s ready to reveal more layers of her personality when she finds a safe and loving home.

Are you ready to open your heart and home to this little girl?
