Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Joey is a wonderful, handsome 2 year old Cocker Spaniel, who was an owner surrender.
He was tethered ('chained') in the front of a house most of his life, and picked on by various family members and neighborhood children.
Unfortunately, as a result of this, he is faced with some trust/fear issues, that caused him to get nervous/anxious when new people approach him.
He has undergone an amazing training program, with David Roe, owner of Blue Dog/Pacific Coast Dog Rescue, and he is a beautifully behaved boy now, however, he needs to go into a home, where there is consistency and structure, in a positive way.
I also would like a family/individual who can be sensitive and patient with him, and continue to fulfill the training process in which David offers, since it has been so advantageous for him.
Despite his past, Joey is extremely loving, anxious to please, and loves cuddles, walks and is excited to be someone's (respected) animal companion, forever.
