Minnie's Story...

Hello! My name is Minnie.

I am a very happy, mature, petite, blue fawn who is seeking a lap…errr… Forever Home with a human who has a lap. The lap is my favorite place to spend time. But arms or a blanket will do in a pinch should my human feel the need to get up and not require my assistance.

Some may say I am a micromanager, but really I just want to know what’s going on and approve of how it is being done thus the need to follow humans everywhere. I take my job seriously and I must maintain my standards you understand.

No slacker here. I am constantly on guard for flies, birds, or other creatures that might invade my space which is on a lap, blanket, or couch. I have a soft bark if that is possible and use it to warn of strangers.

I am an excellent stuffed toy ninja and will make sure none harm my human. The resident cat and I have an understanding so I don’t need to monitor her movements too much. She in turn stays out of my way.

I really am proud how my foster mom follows on leash and behaves so well in stores. I’ll gladly train her replacement so we can go places.

 8-10 yrs young

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie, a Richardson Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Richardson, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Richardson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richardson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richardson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richardson paves the way for another one to be saved.
