Meet Sheldon, a stunning German Shepherd male who was on the kill list at a city shelter before rescue stepped in to save him. Sheldon is such a sweet and loyal dog it really is difficult to understand how these type of dogs or really any end up in high kill shelters. Lucky for Sheldon he is thriving in his foster home. Sheldon is approximately 3years old and is fully housetrained. He knows basic commands such as 'sit', 'stay', and 'down' he is extremely smart true to his breed and is an excellent student. Sheldon is great with ALL people and is fostering in his home with a 4yr old little boy who he just adores and does great with. Sheldon is also good with other dogs especially smaller dogs. He is fostering in his home which currently has 2 medium to large dogs and 2 smaller dogs. Sheldon uses the dog door to let himself out. He can be trusted in the house not to destroy anything. Sheldon also walks amazing on leash and absolutely loves his walks and rides beautiful in the car. Sheldon would be ideal for a family or person who will commit to him for the rest of his life. He would do well in almost any household.
